We just bottled some of Brooklyn Brew Shop’s Everyday IPA. We’ve been using the Brooklyn Brew Shop 1 gallon kit for over a year now, and have found it to be a great way to brew in our small New York apartment. Chris is a huge fan of IPAs, so this has been on our list for a while now. Just before we started brewing, some improved meyer lemons fell off of our lemon tree, Fred, so we decided to use them to flavor the beer. We added the lemon juice and zest at the end of the boil.
While we were fermenting, I got the idea to print some custom labels. I drew the logo in Adobe Ideas on my iPad, and printed them at RedBubble. They make die-cut stickers, which run about a dollar a piece. I don’t know if I’ll do these for every brew, but it certainly does add something.
The beers should be ready to drink in about 2 weeks, so we’re definitely looking forward to that!
